PolicyReveal is an editorial publisher and a matching service. We are not an insurance company, not an agent or broker, and not a financial or legal advisor. Our content is educational, our X-Ray is informational, and the agent we connect you with is an independent third party. Nothing here is insurance, financial, or legal advice.
1.Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Addison Myers Group LLC, which operates PolicyReveal ("PolicyReveal," "we," "us," "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the site or its tools. Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
2.What PolicyReveal is
PolicyReveal is an independent editorial publication about the life insurance industry. We also provide the X-Ray (a tool that reviews a policy document you choose to upload) and agent matching (a service that, at your request, connects you with one independent licensed insurance agent). PolicyReveal is one of several affiliated properties that route matching requests through a shared lead-processing platform (Sidecar); see the Privacy Policy.
3.Editorial content is not advice
Our articles, dossiers, glossary, and other content are provided for general educational purposes only. They are not insurance, financial, tax, or legal advice, and they are not a recommendation to buy, keep, surrender, or replace any policy. Insurance is highly individual. Always read the actual policy contract and consult a licensed professional before making a decision. We strive for accuracy but do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free.
4.The X-Ray tool
The X-Ray produces an informational summary of a document you provide. It is not an offer of insurance, an underwriting decision, a valuation, or professional advice, and its output may contain errors or omissions. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for any decision. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any document you upload, and you confirm you have the right to share it.
5.Agent matching and independent agents
When you request a match, we share your inquiry with one independent licensed insurance agent so they can review it and contact you. That agent is an independent third party. We do not employ them, do not control their advice, recommendations, products, pricing, or conduct, and do not guarantee any outcome, savings, quote, or that you will be contacted or matched at all. Any transaction you enter into is solely between you and the agent or insurer.
If you submit a matching request with a phone number and consent, you agree to be contacted (including by autodialed calls, prerecorded messages, and SMS) by PolicyReveal and the matched agent about your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of purchase, message and data rates may apply, and you may opt out at any time. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
6.Your submissions
You retain ownership of the documents and information you submit. You grant us a limited license to use, host, and process them to provide the tools and services you request (including transmitting your inquiry to Sidecar and to your matched agent). You agree not to submit anything unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or that isn't yours to share.
7.Acceptable use
- Don't use the site or tools for any unlawful purpose or to submit false information.
- Don't scrape, copy, or republish our content except as permitted below.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
8.Intellectual property
PolicyReveal's name, logo, articles, and design are owned by Addison Myers Group LLC or its licensors and are protected by law. You may share links and quote briefly with attribution, but you may not reproduce substantial portions or use our brand without permission.
9.Third-party links and the affiliated network
Our site may link to, or route your request through, third parties and affiliated network properties (including agents, Sidecar, and other Addison Myers Group LLC sites). We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
10.Disclaimer of warranties
The site, content, and tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any information or match will meet your expectations.
11.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Addison Myers Group LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the site, the tools, or any interaction with a matched agent or insurer. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
12.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Addison Myers Group LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the site or tools, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms.
13.Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Addison Myers Group LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, unless a binding arbitration or alternative dispute-resolution provision is separately agreed. 14.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the revision. Your continued use after changes are posted means you accept them.
